Are you an experienced Level 4-qualified Paraplanner looking to take the next step in your financial planning career?
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a highly regarded Independent Financial Advice firm based in the Ingatestone / Basildon area. With an excellent reputation, loyal client base and strong focus on technical excellence, the business is looking to appoint an ambitious Paraplanner to join its growing team.
This role offers a clear pathway towards becoming a Financial Adviser, while also providing the opportunity to progress into a Paraplanner Manager position for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities
As a Paraplanner, you will play an important role in supporting advisers and delivering a first-class client experience, including:
- Attending client meetings and producing comprehensive meeting notes
- Preparing detailed and compliant suitability reports
- Conducting product, pension and investment research
- Preparing cashflow models and supporting complex financial planning
- Preparing client review documentation
- Liaising with providers and third parties
- Supporting advisers with technical research and recommendations
- Ensuring all client work is accurate, compliant and delivered within agreed timescales
- Developing your technical and client-facing skills with a view to progressing into an Adviser role
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is Level 4 Diploma qualified, or working towards Level 4
- Has previous experience within an IFA / financial planning environment
- Has strong technical Paraplanning experience
- Has excellent attention to detail and report-writing skills
- Has experience across pensions, investments and holistic financial planning
- Is confident communicating with advisers, providers and clients
- Is commercially aware and highly organised
- Is ambitious and keen to develop their career
- Would welcome the opportunity to progress towards becoming a Financial Adviser or Paraplanner Manager
