Are you an experienced Wealth Management Paraplanner looking for a role where your technical expertise is genuinely valued?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded, client-focused financial planning practice where paraplanners play a central role in delivering high-quality, bespoke financial advice to affluent and high-net-worth clients.
Working closely with experienced Financial Advisers, you'll provide technical expertise throughout the advice process, from research and analysis through to the preparation of detailed recommendations and suitability reports.
This is a varied and intellectually rewarding role where no two cases are the same.
The Opportunity
As a key member of the paraplanning team, you'll be responsible for:
- Producing high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters.
- Conducting detailed technical research across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning.
- Preparing cashflow modelling and retirement planning analysis.
- Supporting annual reviews and ongoing suitability requirements.
- Researching products, tax-efficient planning opportunities and investment solutions.
- Working closely with Advisers, Administrators and Compliance to ensure excellent client outcomes.
- Attending client meetings where required, supporting Advisers with technical discussions and financial planning presentations.
This is a genuine technical paraplanning position where you'll have the opportunity to contribute to and influence the advice process, rather than simply process paperwork.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Paraplanner who can demonstrate:
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning – essential.
- Previous experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment.
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and taxation.
- Excellent suitability report and recommendation writing skills.
- Experience using financial planning, research and cashflow modelling tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality client outcomes.
- A genuine ambition to continue developing professionally, with support available towards Chartered status.
