As a key member of the Financial Services team, you'll work closely with Financial Advisers and colleagues to deliver comprehensive technical research, analysis and financial planning support. You'll be involved throughout the financial planning process β from gathering and analysing client information, researching solutions and modelling outcomes, through to producing detailed suitability reports and supporting recommendations through to implementation. For ambitious professionals, there is genuine scope for career development and progression towards Chartered status. Hybrid working is available following successful completion of probation. Produce high-quality suitability reports and recommendation documentation for Adviser review. Gather, analyse and interpret detailed client information to support financial planning recommendations. Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning. Undertake cashflow planning and detailed financial analysis. Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of financial products, investments and provider propositions. Help develop internal procedures, processes and report templates. Provide high-quality technical information and analysis throughout the financial planning journey. CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent Paraplanning qualification. Proven experience within an IFA, Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment. Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and wider financial planning. Experience with cashflow planning and financial analysis. Excellent research, report-writing and analytical skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Pension switching. Estate and inheritance planning. Investment planning. Chartered Financial Planning and/or progression towards Chartered status. Experience with systems and platforms such as Assureweb, Exweb, Underwriteme, Intelligent Office, Transact, Quilter, Abrdn, Prudential, LV=, Aviva, FE Analytics and Defaqto would also be advantageous.
