This is a predominantly remote role, with occasional attendance at the firm's Buckinghamshire office for team meetings, collaboration sessions and client-related activities.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you will provide technical expertise and comprehensive support to Financial Planners throughout the advice process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending client meetings alongside Financial Planners to provide technical support
  • Assisting in the preparation and delivery of client meetings
  • Gathering and analysing client financial information
  • Producing cashflow planning models and financial analysis
  • Conducting technical research across financial planning solutions and products
  • Preparing suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
  • Providing comprehensive technical support to Financial Planners
  • Liaising with providers and other third parties
  • Managing client requirements through to successful completion
  • Monitoring and overseeing annual client review processes
  • Assisting with client presentations and other planning activities
  • Managing personal workflow and ensuring timely delivery of tasks
  • Supporting annual technical reviews of services and products
  • Contributing as a member of the firm's internal Investment Committee
  • Ensuring all work adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within an IFA, Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment
  • Strong technical financial planning knowledge
  • Experience preparing suitability reports and conducting research
  • Familiarity with cashflow modelling software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with clients, advisers and providers
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely
