The Opportunity
As an integral member of the technical support team, you'll work closely with Financial Advisers to deliver comprehensive research, detailed suitability reports and technical analysis across pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning.
You'll play a pivotal role behind every successful client recommendation, ensuring every piece of advice is accurate, compliant and tailored to each client's individual objectives.

- Your Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters.
- Conduct detailed research across pensions, investments, protection and financial planning solutions.
- Analyse client circumstances and provide technical support to Financial Advisers.
- Prepare illustrations, comparisons and product research.
- Liaise with providers, platforms and third parties to obtain technical information.
- Ensure all recommendations meet FCA and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate client records using CRM and provider platforms.
- Support advisers throughout the entire financial planning journey from research through to implementation.
- Assist in delivering an exceptional client experience through accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with experienced Paraplanners who possess
- Previous Paraplanning experience within an Independent Financial Advice or Wealth Management environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Experience working with financial planning software and provider platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and professional contacts.
- A proactive attitude and genuine desire to continue developing professionally.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience using Intelliflo Office and platforms such as Nucleus, Transact, Quilter and Standard Life/Abrdn would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
