A highly regarded and fully independent Chartered Financial Planning firm is seeking an experienced Chartered Financial Planner to join its growing team in London. This is a rare opportunity for an adviser who enjoys working closely with clients and delivering high-quality holistic financial planning without the pressure of business development targets. The successful individual will inherit and manage an established portfolio of approximately 100 affluent and ultra-high-net-worth families.

The role is centred on building long-term relationships and providing expert advice across all aspects of wealth management and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an established portfolio of circa 100 HNW and UHNW client families
  • Conduct annual and ongoing client reviews
  • Deliver holistic financial planning advice across:
    • Retirement and pension planning
    • Investment planning
    • Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning
    • Estate and succession planning
    • Protection planning
  • Work closely with clients, their families and professional connections
  • Oversee client portfolios and identify planning opportunities as client circumstances evolve
  • Maintain strong relationships, generating referrals and introductions through exceptional service
  • Collaborate with an experienced paraplanning and administration team to deliver an outstanding client experience
About You
  • Chartered Financial Planner status (or close to completion)
  • Proven experience advising HNW and/or UHNW clients
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, trusts, estates and tax planning
  • A relationship-led adviser who is passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage an existing client bank with professionalism and attention to detail
