Research & Analysis Associate (Junior Paraplanner)

London | Hybrid

Salary: £38,000 - £44,000

I'm partnering with a well-established boutique Chartered Financial Planning firm in London that is looking to add a Research & Analysis Associate (Junior Paraplanner) to its growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has already built experience supporting advisers and is looking to further develop their technical knowledge within a professional, client-focused environment.

You'll work closely with experienced paraplanners and advisers, helping to deliver high-quality advice through research, analysis, report writing and new business processing. The role offers a broad range of responsibilities and would suit someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and takes pride in producing accurate, compliant work.

What you'll be doing:

• Researching pensions and investments and preparing recommendation packs

• Obtaining information from providers and analysing client arrangements

• Producing client-facing presentations and supporting meeting preparation

• Writing suitability reports and preparing compliant files

• Processing pension and investment applications from submission through to completion

• Maintaining accurate client records and updating CRM systems

• Working alongside advisers and paraplanners to support the end-to-end advice process

What they're looking for:

• Minimum of three R0 exams completed and progressing towards DipPFS

• Previous experience supporting IFAs, advisers or paraplanners

• Good knowledge of pensions and investments

• Experience writing suitability reports and handling new business submissions

• Familiarity with investment platforms and pension providers

• Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• A proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities

This could be an excellent next step for a Financial Planning Administrator, Technical Administrator, Trainee Paraplanner or Junior Paraplanner looking to join a respected firm where quality advice and technical excellence are at the heart of what they do.
