A highly regarded and growing financial planning firm based near Amersham, Buckinghamshire, is seeking an experienced, fully Diploma-qualified Paraplanner to join its technical team.
This is a predominantly remote position, offering excellent flexibility, with occasional attendance at the Buckinghamshire office for team meetings, collaboration sessions and client-related activities.

The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will provide technical expertise and comprehensive support to Financial Planners throughout the advice process, helping to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending client meetings alongside Financial Planners to provide technical support
- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of client meetings
- Gathering and analysing client financial information
- Producing cashflow planning models and financial analysis
- Conducting technical research across financial planning solutions and products
- Preparing high-quality suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
- Providing technical support throughout the advice process
- Liaising with providers and other third parties
- Managing client cases through to successful completion
- Monitoring and managing annual client review processes
- Supporting client presentations and financial planning activities
- Managing your own workflow to ensure deadlines are met
- Assisting with annual technical reviews of services and investment solutions
- Contributing as an active member of the firm's Investment Committee
- Ensuring all work complies with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Fully Diploma qualified (Level 4 DipPFS or equivalent)
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Paraplanning or similar technical financial planning role
- Strong experience within an IFA, Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment
- Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning
- Proven experience producing high-quality suitability reports and undertaking technical research
- Experience using cashflow modelling software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to build effective relationships with clients, advisers and providers
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
