We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential care home for children/young people with EBD/LD needs. This senior leadership role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the home and care team
- Lead medium- to long-term placements and emergency support for children
- Achieve and document positive outcomes for children
- Ensure full regulatory compliance and prepare for inspections
- Oversee budgets and resources efficiently
- Develop, mentor, and supervise staff to maintain high standards of care
Education & Experience
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Childrens Services (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a residential care setting
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child welfare, and residential care regulations
- Experience liaising with Ofsted inspections
