A long‑established UK specialist in commercial swimming‑pool water‑treatment and filtration systems is seeking Installation Engineers to join its expanding team. With a strong forward pipeline of projects and several major builds scheduled, this is an excellent opportunity to secure long‑term, stable employment with full training provided. This role suits candidates from any pipefitting background who enjoy hands‑on installation work in commercial environments.
What You’ll Do
- Install new‑build swimming‑pool filtration and water‑treatment systems
- Carry out major and minor refurbishment works
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Attend breakdowns and troubleshoot issues
- Measure, cut, and solvent‑weld pipework (typically uPVC) up to 1214 inches in diameter
- Install pumps, filters, heat exchangers, UV systems, and chemical‑dosing equipment
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in pipefitting or mechanical installation
- Full, clean driving licence
- Ability to work away Monday – Friday
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable liaising with contractors and clients on site
Desirable (training provided if needed)
- Heat welding of uPVC
- Experience installing pumps, filters, UV systems, heat exchangers, or dosing equipment
- Experience in the leisure‑industry or commercial‑pool systems
Pay, Benefits & Allowances
- Salary: £27k–£35k depending on experience
- Overtime: Flat hourly rate after 40 hours/week, 1.5x rate for weekends
- Holidays: 20 days + statutory (increases with service)
