Salary - National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £52,400 to £61,800 and London £57,700 to £68,000 per annum (Salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

About the FCA

The FCA regulates the conduct of 45,000 firms in the UK to ensure our financial markets are honest, fair and competitive.

The Cross Cutting Portfolio (CCP) team works across Advisers, Wealth and Pensions Department (AWP) to be the beating heart of the department. The team leads on our extensive external supervisory engagement programme and stakeholder management strategy. This includes liaison with a range of external professional bodies and groups. We seek to join up our portfolios to ensure clear, compelling communication on issues. We also manage the delivery of the internal communications for the department.

What will you be doing?

  • Play a role in communications and engagement works across the FCA
  • Taking a proactive approach in preparing the department for external events through speeches, presentations, questions and answers and other materials
  • Travelling to major industry events across the country representing the FCA
  • Communicating with stakeholders within the industry to make improvements

  • Able to adapt and follow evolving trends
  • Ability to effectively break down and summarise key information
  • Able to work flexibly and engage colleagues across divisions to achieve collaboration and joined up approach
