As a manager in our listings department, you will join the department’s management team. Your role will involve line managing a team of around half a dozen professionals, overseeing case teams in the transaction manager role on assigned cases as directed by the department’s allocations manager, and being a large contributor within the department’s management team, ensuring that the department is fit for the future.
What will you be doing?

You will be a team manager focused on motivating your team and be a member of the departmental management team

Acting as a Transaction Manager (TM), you will oversee case teams carrying out our core review and guidance functions, following the Listings Department’s review and approval methodology

You will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including with sponsor firms, reporting accountant firms, and law firms advising issuers on the corporate transactions with which we are concerned

Attending Listings Department and Market Oversight management meetings and play a large role in the department and directorate’s management team. You will sit on the department decision making panels. You will participate in the department’s QA programme

You will manage project work aimed at ensuring we continuously update our processes and remain fit for the future

Experience of applying the FCA’s Listing and Prospectus Regulation Rules to real-life situations and cases

Experience in the application of the FCA’s systems and processes for the vetting and approval of prospectuses

Either Equity Capital Markets (ECM) or Debt Capital Markets (DCM) experience and expertise, including a wide understanding of deal structures, corporate transaction due diligence, and corporate finance commercial practice
