Overview
In this role you will support the Listings Department in regulating capital markets activity, focusing on listing eligibility and primary market transactions.
You will work within cross‑functional case teams to review prospectuses and respond to complex queries, liaising with advisory firms and external advisers.
The role blends technical scrutiny with stakeholder management and deadline-driven delivery, offering insight into major IPOs and equity/debt issuances.
You will help shape market regulation while collaborating across FCA teams to deliver effective outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Review draft prospectuses and circulars to assess listing eligibility
- Be the principal contact for advisory firms submitting cases for Listings review
- Prepare comments on company and adviser documents and manage transaction timetables
- Liaise with companies’ advisers and coordinate external input
- Work in market-facing, time-critical environments requiring sound judgment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and potential ad hoc groups as needed
- Key requirements
- Demonstrable experience of wider capital markets and/or corporate transactions of listed companies
- Proven experience in stakeholder management
- excellent attention to detail and analytical/verbal reasoning
- Outstanding written and spoken English communications
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a large workload
- Strong influencing skills and relationship-building with external parties
- Team player with ability to work independently and adapt to new ways of working
- Strong organisational skills with prioritisation and issue escalation
- Ability to digest large amounts of written information to identify relevant issues
