Finance For Enterprise is a growing not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting SMEs that cannot access mainstream funding. As a Responsible Finance provider, the organisation offers alternative loan funding to viable businesses, when they have been unable to secure finance via traditional funding sources or acts as a gap funder within larger financing packages. Loans of up to £250,000 are available to enhance liquidity, support growth initiatives, finance asset purchases or fund MBO/MBI type transactions. Finance For Enterprise is committed to driving business success and economic growth.

This is a full-time hybrid role with a head office located in Doncaster, with work‑from‑home flexibility. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with introducers that will enable you to support small to medium‑sized business clients and promote Finance For Enterprise's lending solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating referrals for SMEs requiring loans
  • Assessing those funding needs
  • Preparing well‑written loan proposals
  • Conducting credit risk assessments
  • Managing the loan process to drawdown of client funds
  • Collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, client relationship management and identifying funding opportunities for SMEs
  • Financial analysis and traditional bank‑style credit assessment skills are crucial, including an understanding of loan structures

  • Knowledge of alternative lending practices, the finance landscape and barriers to the SME sector
