Fin Search are recruiting a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis for a multinational business based in south Pontefract. The business is easily commutable from Barnsley, Wakefield and Doncaster. The business is operating a hybrid working model - 4 days in the office and 1 day at home.
Reporting in to a high calibre Finance Director, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial information including statutory and management reporting. Duties will include, however are not limited to:
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting consolidation and reporting to group
- Maintaining general ledger accuracy
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance to UK GAAP and IFRS
- Supporting with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cost analysis
This role will also develop within the first 6 months to have a member of staff reporting in. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant looking for the next challenge in a forward thinking business in a role with clear opportunity to grow and progress.
The successful candidate will:
- Have worked in a relevant technical financial accounting role previously - practice or industry
- Have strong Excel skills
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
£60,000 - £65,000 + 23 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + pension scheme + free on site parking + opportunity with a clear progression and development path.
