Fin Search are recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a 12 mth FTC basis for a growing services business based in Leeds. This is a FTC to cover maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking for a fast-paced and varied role working within a small team.

Responsibilities

  • Report into a brilliant Financial Controller.
  • Manage both the purchase and sales ledgers.
  • Assist with wider month end tasks.
  • Daily bank reconciliations.
  • Manage supplier payments.
  • Raise sales invoices.
  • Maintain credit control.
  • Assist with the preparation of the quarterly VAT return.
  • Assist with the production of the monthly management accounts and related reporting as required.

Requirements

  • Have worked in a finance/accounts assistant role previously.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be happy to commit to a 12 mth FTC.
