Fin Search are recruiting an Audit & Accounts Associate on a permanent basis for a leading accountancy firm based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well performing firm in a newly created role. Following completion of AAT, this role will progress on to ACA. The business is operating a hybrid working model - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
As an Audit Associate, this role is split across audit work and accounts preparation work. Duties will include, however are not limited to:
- Work on a variety of audit assignments as part of a team
- Preparing year end statutory accounts to include group consolidations
- Drafting corporation tax computations
- Assisting clients as required with advice, bookkeeping, VAT returns and cloud-based software packages such as Xero and Quickbooks
- Involvement with occasional ad hoc work such as business valuations, tax planning, and due diligence assignments
The successful candidate will:
- Be studying towards AAT
- Have worked in an accountancy practice previously
- Have audit experience
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Β£30,000 - Β£35,000 + 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + full AAT study support to include day release, revision and exam days off + pension scheme + private healthcare + social events + hybrid working model (3 days in office and 2 days at home) + free on-site parking for office days.
