Fin Search are recruiting a Finance Analyst (Compliance) on a permanent basis for a market leading, international legal firm based in Leeds. The business is operating a hybrid working model - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

As a Finance Analyst (Compliance), this role will be working as part of a small, fast paced team, responsible for driving finance policies, processes and controls across the business with a focus on client money and Solicitors Accounting Rules. Duties will include, however are not limited to:

  • Working closely with the legal teams to become a trusted advisor in regard to client money processes
  • Preparing key reconciliations regularly identifying trends and working to address any issues
  • Performing detailed reviews of finance data to investigate compliance issues and mitigate any breaches
  • Developing progress trackers and providing regular reporting to senior management
  • Liaising closely with key internal stakeholders and answering any client money queries

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a finance background from legal, financial or professional service
  • Have worked with client money previously
