Fin Search are recruiting an Assistant Accountant on an 18 month FTC for a well performing, market leading business in Bradford. The business is operating a hybrid working model – 2 days in the office and 3 days at home. This role is an unrivalled opportunity for bright and forward thinking accounts assistant or assistant accountant looking for a step into a commercially focused role relevant to AAT/CIMA or ACCA studies with a clear progression route.
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be reporting into an ACA qualified Head of FP&A, responsible for assisting with month end processes and controls with a focus on providing a business partnering service to key stakeholders within the business. Duties will include, however are not limited to:
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting internal stakeholders with forecasting
- Producing month end journals such as accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with variance analysis and profitability analysis
The successful candidate will have:
- Worked in a relevant assistant accountant or finance analyst role previously
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident talking to stakeholders
£37,000 - £38,000 + full AAT/ACCA/CIMA study support + 29 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + BUPA Medicash + stakeholder pension scheme + staff discount scheme + hybrid working model.
