Overview
Fin Search are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis for an exciting, future proof business based in Middlesbrough.
Reporting in to a CIMA qualified Finance Manager, the Assistant Management Accountant will be working as part of a small team, responsible for assisting with the production of a timely and accurate monthly management accounts pack.
Responsibilities
The duties will include, however are not limited to:
- Posting journals such as accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Assisting with variance analysis
- Assisting with information gathering for internal and external audits
Qualifications
- Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA or be AAT qualified
- Have worked in a relevant accounts assistant/assistant accountant role previously
- Have strong Excel skills
- Have very good verbal and written communication skills
Benefits
30,000 – 35,000 with full ACCA/CIMA study support, discretionary bonus scheme, private medical insurance, global travel insurance, competitive private pension (6% employer, 3% employee) and free on site parking
