Fin Search are recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis for a well performing service provider based in North Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking for a fast paced and varied role working within a small team. As an Accounts Assistant, this role will report to the Financial Controller, responsible for managing both the purchase and sales ledgers and assisting with wider month end tasks.
Duties will include, however are not limited to:
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Managing supplier payments
- Raising sales invoices
- Maintaining credit control
- Assisting with the preparation of the quarterly VAT return
- Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts and related reporting as required
The successful candidate will:
- Have worked in a relevant finance or accounts assistant role previously
- Have managed both purchase and sales ledgers in a previous role
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
£28,000 - £35,000 + AAT study support (if required) + 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + pension scheme + free on site parking
