MISSION

The Senior / Lead Consultant will advise clients with strong expertise in payments, supporting them on topics such as payment systems, schemes, and technologies, as well as business strategy and decision-making. The role involves leading or contributing to consulting engagements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting sales and presales activities, and developing innovative solutions to address complex challenges within the payments ecosystem.

ACTIVITIES

  • Lead and contribute to the analysis of complex business and technical requirements, translating them into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Own and manage workstreams, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards, while proactively addressing risks and defining mitigation plans when needed.
  • Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and internal teams, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment across multiple functions.
  • Contribute to or lead the definition of project scope, estimates, and delivery approaches, ensuring solutions are realistic, scalable, and aligned with client needs.
  • Support and shape proposals, including the development of tailored solutions and delivery models, and contribute to or deliver client presentations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing expert guidance on payment technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Drive or contribute to innovation within projects, leveraging domain expertise to introduce new ideas, methodologies, and improvements.
  • Promote best practices and ensure adherence to relevant standards, governance, and quality frameworks.
  • Share knowledge within the team and support the development of colleagues, including mentoring more junior consultants when relevant.

JOB EXPERIENCE

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the payments technologies field.
  • Strong experience within technical consulting, business consulting or certification and testing activities.
  • Experience of regulated sectors and/or public sector.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Completed Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong understanding of trends and regulations to guide complex consulting engagements.
  • Ability of analyzing complex requirements and generate actionable recommendations.
  • Structured problem-solving approach through research and innovation.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present documentation and influence decision making.
  • Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a welcome advantage.
