Fimador is partnering with an international client to appoint an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer who will take the lead in driving automation and quality engineering practices across a broad technology environment.
The role will focus on strengthening automated testing capabilities, improving engineering standards, and helping development teams build quality into products from day one.
- Leading the direction of test automation across a portfolio of products and platforms.
- Creating and enhancing automation frameworks that support testing at API, integration, and end-to-end level.
- Promoting consistent, scalable approaches to quality engineering across engineering teams.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on automation tooling, testing strategy, and best practice.
- Working closely with software engineers, QA, SRE, and product teams to introduce quality earlier in the development lifecycle.
- Supporting and mentoring others to strengthen automation capability and encourage best practice across the wider engineering function.
- Ensuring quality and automated testing become part of the development mindset from the beginning, rather than something applied later in the process.
- Ensuring automation frameworks are dependable, easy to maintain, and used effectively across teams.
