Fimador are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build and maintain the cloud platform that powers modern software delivery across our clients technology organisation. In this role, you will focus on improving the reliability, scalability and efficiency of our engineering platform, enabling product teams to ship high-quality software quickly and safely. You will work closely with engineering, architecture and security teams to design infrastructure, automate processes and introduce tooling that improves developer productivity and operational resilience.
Duties:
- Design, implement and manage cloud-based infrastructure that supports highly available and scalable applications.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and architecture teams to define platform standards, tooling and technical direction.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Support containerised workloads by designing and operating Kubernetes-based infrastructure for modern microservices platforms.
- Ensure systems are deployed with security, compliance and resilience best practices in mind.
- Participate in operational support activities including troubleshooting production issues and contributing to on-call rotations where required.
- Knowledge sharing, documentation and mentoring contribute to stronger DevOps capabilities across the organisation.
About you:
- Strong experience working with AWS.
- Solid background managing Linux-based systems and infrastructure.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git-based workflows, Jenkins or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with IaC with Terraform for example.
- Experience designing and operating Kubernetes, EKS, environments, including deployment patterns, networking and security configurations.
- Knowledge of Postgres and MongoDB.
