Job Description
Fimador is currently partnering with a boutique private equity firm in their quest to find an Associate to join their highly successful team.
Due to continued growth, this newly created Associate role will join the fund-of-funds and co-investments investment team. The role will have end-to-end investments responsibility from leading and providing support with fund sourcing, attending fund manager meetings and establishing relationships across the GP and LP community.
You’ll perform deal evaluation and due diligence, industry and company analysis and financial modelling and contribute to the investment pipeline on an ongoing basis. You’ll also monitor existing investments and create quarterly client reports and cashflow models.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and can-do attitude individual with an excellent academic background (undergraduate degree in relevant field).
- Masters in Mathematics, Economics, Finance or relevant field and/or certification (CFA) would be a valuable asset.
- 2+ years of experience within fund-of-funds investing in private equity.
- Strong research, analytical, financial modeling, valuation, problem solving skills and ability to think creatively.
