Double Day Shifts | Rotating Weekly

Hours: 06:00 to 14:00 one week, 14:00 to 22:00 the following week

Location: Skipton (BD23)

Salary: Starting at £16.78 per hour, equivalent to around £34,902 per year based on 40 hours per week

What you'll be doing:

As a Moulding Setter Operator, you'll help ensure moulding machines and automation run efficiently, while supporting safe, smooth and consistent production. Duties will include:

  • Setting and operating injection moulding machines and associated equipment
  • Loading and unloading mould tools safely and efficiently
  • Troubleshooting machine or process issues in a timely and logical way
  • Keeping machines and automation running to the required standard
  • Carrying out first-off and last-off checks
  • Inspecting parts and ensuring sampling is completed in line with quality requirements
  • Checking that the correct materials are being used
  • Completing paperwork and production documentation accurately and on time
  • Supporting smooth shift-to-shift handovers
  • Carrying out weekly machinery safety checks
  • Maintaining good housekeeping and working to 5S standards
  • Following SOPs, work instructions and health and safety procedures

What we're looking for:

  • Experienced with injection moulding machines and associated equipment
  • Confident setting, operating and troubleshooting machinery
  • Methodical in their approach to problem solving
  • Able to follow SOPs, work instructions and quality standards
  • Reliable, practical and comfortable working rotating double day shifts
  • Quality-focused with good attention to detail
  • Able to communicate clearly with peers and management
  • Flexible, safety-conscious and willing to support production demands
  • A forklift truck licence or similar would be useful, and basic injection moulding machine maintenance experience would be an advantage.
