Overview
In this role you will own and shape Filtronic’s business systems landscape to support a growing, complex manufacturing operation. You’ll lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of ERP and related systems across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Finance, translating business needs into scalable solutions. You will work hands-on through design, configuration, testing and adoption, ensuring data governance and integrated information flow. This is a pivotal position that combines systems depth with practical delivery to enable operational visibility and control.

Responsibilities
- Own and develop the business systems roadmap aligned with growth and priorities
- Lead implementation, optimization and continuous improvement of core systems
- Collaborate with functional teams to capture requirements and identify improvements
- Translate business requirements into effective system and process solutions
- Hands-on system configuration, workflows, reporting, testing and issue resolution
- Lead system changes from requirements to design, UAT, implementation and adoption
- Eliminate manual processes, duplication and workarounds
- Improve integration and information flow across systems landscape
- Establish data governance, master-data ownership and controls
- Develop reporting, dashboards and management information for visibility
- Ensure robust system administration, access controls and change governance
- Manage external providers while maintaining internal ownership
- Build internal capability through training and super-user networks
- Support evaluation and implementation of future systems and technologies
- Ensure scalability of the systems landscape for future needs
Key requirements
- Significant experience in a Business Systems, ERP, Applications or Systems Transformation role
- Strong track record implementing and improving ERP and enterprise systems
- ERP expertise including configuration, workflows, reporting, testing and implementation
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering or technology environments
- Understanding of planning, supply chain, procurement, inventory, manufacturing and finance
- Experience integrating ERP with other systems
- Strong business analysis, process improvement and problem-solving
- Experience leading complex implementations and multiple workstreams
- Knowledge of data, governance and master data management
- Experience managing external consultants and system partners
- Ability to engage from detailed technical discussions to Leadership Team
- Proven record embedding system and process change
- UK Government Security Clearance Vetting Procedure eligibility
- NetSuite experience advantageous
