From satellite links to next-generation sensing systems, we design and manufacture high-performance components and subsystems—including SSPAs, filters, and transceivers—ensuring seamless connectivity and precision at the highest frequencies.

Working with a team of experienced RF, electronics and mechanical engineers you will contribute to the design of radio frequency products with responsibility for analogue and digital circuit design and schematic capture, ensuring that electrical performance, quality, cost and manufacturability requirements are met.

Requirements

  • You will be trained, mentored and supported by senior engineers to:
  • Contribute to the design and development of new microwave and mmWave communication products following established engineering practices.
  • Support the engineering team by involvement in design reviews, manufacture of prototype hardware, device/module characterisation and providing technical feedback and recommendations throughout the product design cycle.
  • Become familiar with using RF CAD tools including Keysight ADS & EMPro and Cadence MWO as well as mechanical and PCB design tools such as Draftsight, Solidworks & Altium Designer.
  • Potentially specialise in one or more areas including MMIC design, RF sub-modules, RF systems, embedded electronics, PCB schematic capture/layout and mechanical design.
  • Define product qualification and production test requirements, as well as generating internal, supplier & customer technical documentation.
  • Liaise with external component suppliers and manufacturing facilities, identifying suitable devices/manufacturing capabilities for new products.
  • Support production by reviewing live test data and making recommendations to improve yields and test efficiencies.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • Due to the range of positions available, candidates with a relevant HND, Degree or MSc qualification (or equivalent) in any of the following subjects will be considered: Electronics/Communications Engineering, Embedded Electronics, Maths or Physics.
  • Computer literate (MS applications) including enhanced Excel skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Team player with a customer focus.
