Filtronic is looking for a Production Planner to join our Operations team at NetPark, Sedgefield. This is a key role in helping us deliver complex, high-performance RF, microwave and millimetre-wave technologies to customers operating in fast-moving and demanding markets.
You will be responsible for creating, maintaining and coordinating production plans that support customer delivery, efficient use of manufacturing resources and smooth flow through production. Working closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Project teams, you will balance customer demand, material availability, manufacturing capacity and operational priorities across multiple product lines.
You will ensure that plans are realistic, visible and deliverable, while identifying and escalating risks before they impact delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will develop and maintain production plans and schedules that support customer demand and business priorities.
- This will include converting customer orders, demand signals and project requirements into achievable manufacturing plans, monitoring material availability and capacity, and keeping ERP/MRP planning data accurate and up to date.
- You will also support daily and weekly production planning reviews, providing clear updates on priorities, risks, progress and required actions.
- As part of the wider Operations team, you will contribute to continuous improvement activity, helping to improve planning processes.
