We need someone who can run the commercial engine of a growing contractor. Filmtek Data Solutions delivers fit-out, logistics, technical cleaning, and managed workforce packages across data centre projects in the UK and Europe. We're carving out a strong position in tenant office fit-out within the data centre sector, and we have the projects to prove it. Live pipeline, fast-moving leadership, and a team that expects the numbers to be right.

The role involves owning everything commercial at FDS. From pricing an incoming technical cleaning enquiry at £50k to building a full BOQ for a £2m office fit-out from detailed drawings. You will price it, send it, manage cost through delivery, and protect the margin. This is not a back-office role; you are central to how FDS wins and delivers work.

What you'll own:

  • Estimating and pricing across all project types: fit-out, technical cleaning, logistics and managed workforce packages
  • BOQ development from drawings and specifications
  • Subcontractor and supplier quote management
  • Cost reporting and margin tracking through project delivery
  • Variation management and change control
  • Supporting the Project Delivery Manager with commercial decisions on site

Who you are:

  • You've priced and delivered construction or fit-out work and you're good at it
  • You can turn around a quote quickly without cutting corners on accuracy
  • You understand where margin is made and lost before anyone else in the room does
  • You're commercially versatile. A fit-out BOQ and a cleaning scope don't faze you
  • Sharp, precise, fast. And hungry to prove what you can do with real responsibility
  • You don't need a big company behind you to do your best work

The structure:

Freelance day rate to start, across pre-construction and live project delivery. For the right person, this becomes a permanent senior position as FDS scales across the UK and Europe. We're moving now. Pre-construction on a significant fit-out project starts imminently.
