About FilmTailor AI: FilmTailor AI is redefining how film and TV gets made. Our B2B platform automates pre‑production, the slowest and most expensive phase of filmmaking, so studios and production companies can move from script to shoot in a fraction of the time. We are past the idea stage, with over 700 active users and subscribers. We have signed letters of intent from major UK broadcasters, active trials with leading global studios, and industry recognition including the UK Business Award (2024) and the Barclays Business Award (2025). We are now raising our seed round and preparing to scale.
The Role: We are looking for a co‑founder, not an employee. You will join the founding team with genuine ownership, a real voice in every strategic decision, and full responsibility for one of the pillars of the business. Depending on your background, that pillar could be:
- Commercial: owning revenue, enterprise sales and partnerships with studios and broadcasters
- Financial: owning fundraising, financial strategy, modelling and investor relations
- Technical: owning the platform, engineering roadmap and AI architecture
What matters most is not which discipline you come from, but that you take true end‑to‑end ownership of it and complement the CEO, who leads product, industry relationships and go‑to‑market.
What We Are Looking For:
- Senior experience in a start‑up or high‑growth environment, ideally at founder, C‑level or VP level
- A track record of building something from scratch: a function, a product, a revenue line or a company
- Comfort with the reality of startups: ambiguity, speed, wearing several hats and doing the work yourself
- Founder‑level commitment: this is a long‑term partnership, not a side project
- A genuine interest in film, television or creative technology
- A well established voice in the Film & Media Industry is optimal
