FilmTailor AI is redefining film production through intelligent automation. Born from a love of filmmaking and a belief that technology can remove the barriers between creativity and execution, our platform streamlines workflows, reduces production time and empowers creators to focus on what truly matters: storytelling. We are now entering a pivotal stage of growth. Following major industry interest and exciting enterprise conversations, we are looking for a strategic, hands‑on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our founding team.
Salary: We offer you equity and you will own a part of the company, in exchange for 10 to 15 hours of volunteer work per week, until investment (Feb 2026) and then you will be paid.
Location: Work from Anywhere – Flexibility to work from abroad.
Important Note: This role is on a volunteer basis until at least Feb 2026 when we land our next round of investment!

About the Role: As CFO, you will shape the financial backbone of FilmTailor AI. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early‑stage environments and wants to help build a category‑defining company from the ground up.
- Designing and implementing FilmTailor AI’s financial strategy.
- Leading fundraising activity, including investor relations, pitch development and financial modelling.
- Owning budgeting, forecasting and reporting across the business.
- Establishing financial processes, controls and compliance frameworks as we scale.
- Supporting commercial strategy, pricing and long‑term growth planning.
- Advising the CEO on strategic decisions and acting as a true business partner.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally CFO or VP Finance in a startup or high‑growth tech environment.
- Expertise in financial modelling, investment preparation and working with investors.
- Strong understanding of SaaS and AI‑driven business models.
- Ability to build financial systems and processes from scratch.
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on execution mindset.
- Passion for film, creativity or media technology is a strong advantage.
