What will you be doing?
We are looking for a warm, proactive Community Manager to help us nurture and energise the growing Filming for Humanity community — from our internal creative circle to our wider network of actors, artists, charities, and supporters. Filming for Humanity creates educational, socially impactful movies, and our community is at the very heart of everything we do. We need someone who loves people, communication, and engagement — someone excited to help us build strong relationships, spark conversations, and bring our community to life every day.
In this role, you will manage both internal communication (team, artists, and board members) and external communication (actors, supporters, collaborators, and followers). You’ll work with WhatsApp groups, our artist community platform, and our broader social channels to keep everyone informed, inspired, and connected.
Key priorities include
- Internal Community Management
- Managing our WhatsApp groups for artists, team members, and board members
- Sharing updates, casting calls, reminders, small wins, and creative news
- Helping maintain a friendly, welcoming, positive environment
- Supporting communication between departments when needed
- Posting regular updates on our artist platform (news, opportunities, casting calls, behind-the-scenes content, film updates…)
- Encouraging conversations, engagement, and collaboration
- Welcoming new actors and creatives to our community channels
- Creating fun, fresh engagement ideas to keep our network active and excited
- Supporting the development of a strong, loyal, and vibrant community
- Helping plan small events or online activities for our actors and supporters
- Proposing new ideas for content, spotlights, or engagement features
- Sharing relevant posts that entertain, inspire, and strengthen our community identity
Your presence will help ensure our community feels seen, heard, valued, and actively part of the Filming for Humanity journey.
