Call for trainees to take up paid training opportunities in the UK film industry
The film industry’s Distribution Training scheme funded by UK film trade body, FDA, returns for 2025. The only scheme of its kind, the programme offers a 9 month paid work placement internship with a UK distributor.
What makes you go to see a particular film? Do you influence your friends? What are your favourite films and who are your favourite cinema heroes? Have you ever thought about how films engage with audiences.?
Launched in 2014, the scheme has run successfully for ten years recruiting high calibre candidates who would not otherwise have been able to access careers in the commercial sector of the UK film industry. The majority of participants have gone on to build sustainable careers within the distribution and related businesses.
