We have a large fleet of purpose-built truck mounted twin generators and a rapidly growing stock of broadcast specific lighting. The purpose of the role:

We are currently looking for an Office Manager & Operations Assistant to join our team based in Yate. In this role you will be working to support operational aspects of the business and Yate depot. You will be responsible for overseeing daily base operations and organisation of the onsite team, dealing with the allocation of both assets and labour resources to projects and equipment rentals. In this role it will be important to be highly organised, plan ahead, and be a great communicator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of office resources and day to day office facility tasks.
  • Booking of meeting rooms, hot desks and facilitate visitors.
  • Managing office Health & Safety.
  • Plan and allocate staff to projects and hires to ensure they are resourced correctly.
  • Distribute job specific information and timings to work crews prior to deployment.
  • Work with the Operations Management team to request the correct accreditation in advance of the projects.
  • Book and manage all travel-related needs for the onsite team, this will include: accommodation, flights, ferries, car hire and airport parking.
  • Work with Service and Warehouse Management teams to ensure correct equipment is prepared and ready for dispatch to customer sites on time.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
  • Skilled at both collaborating in a team environment and taking ownership of individual tasks when required.
  • An awareness or previous working history within the event industry would be an advantage (events or broadcast history)
  • Good level of IT skills, to include MS Office suite.
  • Available to take business calls out of normal business hours.
