We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of clients. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support clients with mobility and daily routines in accordance with individual care plans
  • Encourage social interaction and participation in activities to promote mental well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client conditions
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safety at all times
  • Follow health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures
  • Use IT systems to update client records and document care activities

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
  • Knowledge of care plans and the ability to adapt support accordingly
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Driving experience and a valid driving licence are advantageous for roles involving client transportation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and team members

Pay: £25,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
