We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join the Developer Tools team at Figma. This team is building solutions targeting mainly frontend and full stack developers, helping them bring products from idea to production faster than ever. As a manager on the Developer tools team you will lead teams working across Dev Mode, MCP, Code Connect, and more. You’ll also be responsible for helping define the future of our developer offering, very likely helping incubate and lead new product development. Developer tools is a major initiative at Figma and is spearheaded from the London office. You’ll be working on one of the most exciting areas within Figma incorporating design thinking, the latest AI developments, and open source developer tooling.
This is a full time role that can be held from our London hub or remotely in the UK.
What you’ll do at Figma:
- Manage and support a team of product engineers focused on building and expanding Figma’s developer offerings, including Dev Mode, MCP, Code Connect, and more.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate work across product, design, engineering, and other functions.
- Define strategy including mentoring, and growing senior engineers.
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- Experience building large scale systems using React, C++, and/or Ruby.
