Fight or Flight is looking for an experienced Account Director who can lead from the front – shaping strategy, building senior client relationships and driving work that earns real attention. Fight or Flight is a fast-growing creative communications agency that helps B2B brands provoke a real response to deliver greater business impact. Our mission is to rid the world of boring white papers, and instead build earned, owned and social campaigns that turn heads and make headlines.
You will be:
- The senior lead across your accounts: Owning client relationships at a strategic level, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring your accounts are delivering against their business objectives.
- Setting the direction: Leading communications strategies and ensuring all work ladders up to clear compelling narratives that will deliver measurable impact.
- Building and growing trusted client relationships: Leading delivery at a senior level, getting deeper within the businesses you work for and owning account growth.
- Playing a key role in new business: Leading and contributing to pitches – including prospecting and networking.
- Driving high level integrated campaigns: Remaining up to date on the latest media trends and continuing to nurture your media relationships, right through to creating creative storytelling concepts that integrate our broader services (GEO, digital, influence etc).
- Leading and mentoring teams: Setting standards, mentoring Account Managers and Executives and encouraging and creating a high performing collaborative working culture.
What we’re looking for:
- A minimum of 5 years experience of B2B/corporate communications experience (previous PR/marketing agency experience preferred but not essential).
- An individual comfortable with (and curious about) using AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and improve ideas (not replace critical thinking).
- A solid and growing track record for delivering integrated, earned-led, campaigns.
- Deep understanding of the media landscape and what drives coverage.
- Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets and growing accounts.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
- Strong writing, storytelling and presentation skills.
- A team player who loves contributing to work culture.
