Fight or Flight is on the search for an experienced and enthusiastic Associate Director who focuses on campaigns to join our growing team. Fight or Flight is a fast‑growing integrated communications agency that helps B2B brands provoke a real response to deliver greater business impact. Our services include media relations, campaign execution, social media, GEO, content creation, research & insights, sustainability advisory, account‑based marketing and more.

Why we’re hiring an Associate Director

We skew towards a senior team for our clients because we think it delivers the best outcomes and values for them. As we grow, it’s important to have enough senior client leads in the business to allow us to scale while maintaining the level of service we think clients should expect. We’re big believers in giving people at every level more hours on fewer clients, not spreading them thin. We’ve had some wins so far this year and we would like an associate director to come in and support on existing clients and help win and service future business.

The role

  • Developing relationships with senior clients
  • Leading teams to consistently deliver against objectives
  • Coming up with creative comms strategies
  • Building opportunities to extend client activity into creative campaigns
  • Leading/playing a major supporting role on new business pitches
  • Coaching the junior team on media and client relationship excellence

What we’re looking for

  • Someone already operating at senior account director or associate director at an agency (in‑house experience also valued)
  • A proven track record in media relations – strong media relationships with nationals and trade outlets, knowledge of how different media work and examples of standout coverage
  • Someone who is comfortable working in a flat‑structured, meritocratic environment
