Our Company: Our pioneering technology is a powerful telescope into human understanding, turning billions of disparate audience data points into vibrant and easy to understand insights. It’s complex data, made actionable for everyone. Unique to us, we join the technologies of audience intelligence and media buying together digitally - within our platform. We understand the unique value of the individual, which is why we aim to create a company structure that welcomes ideas from everyone.
Your Role: We are currently in the final planning stages for our upcoming work with the UK Government. While we aren’t looking for an immediate start, we are officially opening the search for this lead role now. As such, this is a contingent hire - we are looking to identify and build a relationship with the right leader now, with a formal start date tied to the finalisation of these upcoming projects. As an Insights Lead, you will be the strategic engine behind our most critical accounts, specifically leading our work within the UK Government. You will interpret data and own the end-to-end strategy process, from creating complex audience studies to delivering presentations that shape communication, media planning and influencer strategies. This role will fit a creative thinker who doesn’t just follow a process but uses our platform’s capabilities to find the "so what" that others miss.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the insights and strategy process for key government clients, ensuring every project aligns with client expectations and broader socio-political research.
- Build high-quality audience studies using the Fifty platform, blending our data with external research to create a cohesive narrative.
- Go beyond high-level analysis to generate actionable recommendations across comms, media, messaging, and influencer strategy.
- Act as the face of Fifty for senior government stakeholders, presenting complex audience insights in a clear, compelling, and rapport-building manner.
- Transform data into "stories," producing written reports and presentations that are both visually impressive and intellectually rigorous.
- Continuously evolve our insights methodology, finding innovative ways to use our tools to solve unique client challenges.
- Partner with Planners, Strategists and Media channel activation teams to ensure our strategic recommendations are seamlessly translated into successful media execution.
Your Essential Skills:
- 4+ years in a strategy-heavy role (Agency, Consultancy, or Insight-side).
- A background in Media Strategy, Creative Strategy, Consultancy, or Audience Insights.
- Experience with audience intelligence tools, social listening, or data-driven planning platforms.
- Proven track record of using data to inform big-picture decisions.
- Being diligent and "hands-on." You enjoy getting into the weeds of the data yourself to ensure the output is of the highest quality.
- Being a confident presenter, able to communicate strategic recommendations in a compelling and engaging way.
- An inventive problem-solver who looks for new ways to leverage tools to achieve specific outcomes.
- You possess strong intellectual curiosity and academic pedigree, capable of holding your own in rooms with high-level policy and strategy experts.
Your Extra Skills: Prior experience working with (or for) government bodies or public sector accounts is a significant advantage.
Your Salary: £55,000 + up to 15% Base Salary Company Bonus.
Our Benefits: At Fifty we recharge with 25 annual leave days + bank holidays, increased annual leave the longer you’ve worked with us, office closure over Christmas, paid volunteer leave, matched giving for a fundraising cause, contributory pension scheme based on level of seniority, generous and inclusive parental leave and sick pay policies, individual Learning & Development budgets, a Mac laptop, £100 personal budget for your home working station + a new monitor, mobile phone contract contributions, cycle to work scheme, and more.
