Class 1 Driver - Container work (Drop & Swap) - Client will provide training on Container Work

Location: Widnes

Pay Rate: £17.86 to £24.00 p/h

Hours: Monday to Friday (Weekend overtime available) - shift starts 06:00

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 1 Drivers in Widnes to work with our client, who operate across the whole supply chain, handling all aspects of logistics from beginning to end.

Employee Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday Days £17.86 (Holiday Pay: £2.14 per hour if paid on top (£20.00 total if requested))
  • Saturday £20.53 (Holiday Pay: £2.47 per hour if paid on top (£23.00 total if requested))
  • Sunday £21.42 (Holiday Pay: £2.58 per hour if paid on top (£24.00 total if requested))

This role may require you to complete a Driving Assessment before you can be allocated a shift. Container work (training provided) Mostly drop & Swap Standard paperwork & vehicle checks

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. Training is available for Class 1 drivers with no container experience. You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
