Hours: Monday to Friday

Licence: Class 2 (C) - essential

Contract: Temp to Perm (after 12 weeks)

Experience: 6 months Class 2 experience - essential

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Launceston to work with our client, who is a national drinks supplier, providing 1000s of alcohol products to hospitality businesses, across wine, spirits, beer, cider and soft drinks.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Driving a Class 2 vehicle
  • Multi-drop deliveries: 10-12 per day
  • Delivering alcohol to hospitality businesses
  • Heavy handballing required

This is a customer-facing role, and you must therefore be presentable and able to communicate with people at different levels.

About you:

  • You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence with at least 6 months experience.
  • You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
  • Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
  • As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.
  • You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
  • We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
