Pay Rate: £13.00 to £14.57 p/h

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (07:00 - 17:00)

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Van Drivers in Bury St Edmunds to work with our client, driving a Van to support operations by delivering and collecting bins from residential and commercial locations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Driving a Van
  • Collecting, delivering and exchanging bins from residential and commercial premises
  • Assisting other drivers as a driver’s mate from time to time
  • Loading and unloading bins
  • Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Working in line with site health & safety procedures

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations. You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
