Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 refuse drivers in The Wirral to work with our client, who provide all types of business with commercial waste disposal and recycling.
Previous experience working in the waste industry would be beneficial.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
- Collecting refuse & bulk waste bins from different local areas each day
- Working alongside the loaders when required
- Some lone driving and manual handling required
- Assisting with the manual movement of domestic wheelie bins & bulk bins
- Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users
- Reporting delays due to bad weather etc
All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.
About you:
You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.
You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
