Hours:
Monday to Friday working. Shift times are AM Shift: 05:00 - 13:00 - PM Shift: 12:30 - 19:00.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
- Working alongside loaders on residential and commercial routes
- Assisting with moving wheelie bins when required
- Working safely and professionally at all times
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Completing digital paperwork via tablet systems
- Working in line with WTD, drivers hours and waste duty of care
All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.
About you:
You will have had your Class 2 Driving Licence for 6 months and have at least 90 days recorded driving in the last 6 months. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations. You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
