The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities may include:
- Driving a Class 1 vehicle
- Trunking work with no handballing required (Leeds - Doncaster - Leeds)
- Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Delivering goods safely, professionally and on time
- Following all Road Transport, Working Time Directive and Driver Hours regulations
- Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
- A minimum of 6 months commercial Class 1 driving experience
- A valid UK Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
Our client may accept up to 6 penalty points, however applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted. Applicants must be UK residents and able to travel to and from the site independently. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship or relocation support.
