The Role
As a Transport Planner, your responsibilities may include:
- Plan efficient multi-drop delivery routes to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Allocate drivers to daily delivery schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Coordinate and manage daily transport planning to meet operational deadlines.
- Communicate with drivers, customers and internal teams to provide updates and resolve transport queries.
- Monitor route performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service levels.
- Ensure all transport operations comply with relevant legislation, company policies and industry standards.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 12-24 months experience working in a similar, fast paced role
- A good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Applicants must be UK residents and able to travel to and from the site independently. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship or relocation support.
