Role Summary: This is a full-time position for a Sales and Acquisitions Assistant to join our team at the heart of the dynamic, fast-paced team in a successful global business. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to the Sales and Acquisitions managers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong ability to take initiative, ruthlessly prioritize tasks, communicate clearly and looking to build a long-term career in the TV and film industry.
Role Responsibilities:
- The role supports the SVP of Sales, EMEA and the SVP of Acquisitions in Television Distribution.
- Preparing materials for internal and external meetings, set agendas, ensure minutes & action items are circulated.
- Full PA support to both execs, including diary management of internal & meetings, travel & expenses etc.
- Tracking the full workflow of deals with all internal departments to make sure they are processed in a timely manner and update on any issues that may arise – including but not limited to materials delivery, finance, content, rights and legal across both Sales and Acquisitions.
- Manage and maintain tracking logs across sales, screeners, acquisition submissions, client feedback and slate launches.
- Capture schedules and ratings from broadcast partners to share internally.
- Checking avails and generating reports for clients.
- Research TV trends, market trends and industry shifts, including implications for TVD strategy and the overall business.
- Attend client meetings when requested ensuring detailed notes and action items are circulated.
- Attend markets when requested and support marketing if we have a market presence.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and sales feedback for Producers.
- Design and deliver compelling presentations ensuring consistency in messaging as requested.
- Proactively suggest ways to improve performance and processes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales or distribution environment, with a track record in a client facing role.
- Superior organizational, communication and analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva and Keynote, as well as a good attention to detail.
- Collaborative and flexible team player with professional demeanor and diplomatic skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain both internal and external relationships.
- Must be familiar with the TV global landscape and be able to keep up to date with trends within the industry.
- A genuine passion and respect for entertainment content especially TV.
- A can-do attitude and an ambition to progress career within the international TV and content industry.
- Ability to work with high level senior managers and demonstrate discretion.
- Resilient and nimble in an ever changing landscape.
