Role Summary
This is a full‑time position for a Technical Operations Digital Assistant to join our Technical Operations and Localisation team at the heart of the dynamic, fast‑paced team in a successful global business. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to the Technical Operations managers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong ability to take initiative, ruthlessly prioritize tasks, communicate clearly and looking to build a long‑term career in the TV and film industry.
Role Responsibilities
- Liaise with external vendors and broadcasters to ensure delivery schedules are continually updated.
- Enter and update data on third‑party digital release sites such as Amazon Slate.
- Efficiently manage the departmental calendar ensuring optimal organisation of the senior manager and director’s time.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings working with the administration team to ensure conference rooms and calls are booked correctly.
- Efficiently manage all departmental trackers and internal systems with the most up‑to‑date information.
- Oversee organisation of broadcast files and folder structures across department SharePoint.
- Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and ensure accurate expense reconciliation.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for team members.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team and assist when requested in preparation of any video or paper files needed.
- Assist with special projects as requested and provide support to various departments as needed.
- Provide backup support to all members of the Technical Operations team as they manage delivery and localisation projects.
Requirements
- At least two years’ experience supporting a production/materials/trafficking department preferably at a distribution or post‑production company.
- A good communicator and team player who collaborates well at all levels both internally and externally.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for effective internal and external communication.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have a love of film and television and appreciation for production and talent.
- Must be fluent in English.
