Our client is a national Wealth Management Group and is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Financial Advisor in our Glasgow branch. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shadow an experienced incumbent for a few months and subsequently take over their responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Advisory Services: Provide financial advice and recommendations to clients based on their individual goals, financial situations, and risk tolerance. Assist in the development and implementation of personalized financial plans, including investment strategies, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning. Conduct financial analysis and research to identify suitable investment opportunities and products. Regularly review and monitor clients' investment portfolios, making adjustments to align with their objectives and market conditions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients based on trust, integrity, and professionalism. Proactively address client inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring exceptional service delivery. Actively engage in networking activities and client prospecting to expand the client base.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Adhere to industry regulations, compliance policies, and ethical standards. Maintain proper documentation and records of client interactions, financial plans, and compliance-related activities. Stay up-to-date with financial industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting
  • Advanced Diploma / Chartered or Diploma Qualified and working towards the Advanced Diploma / Chartered
  • Previous experience in financial planning, investments required or an experienced paraplanner looking to move into a Financial Advisor role.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and financial planning strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
  • High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
